Overview
A five night Kashmir trip planned around your own group: two or three families, a set of friends, or an office team. Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Pahalgam, with the rooms and the vehicles worked out together.
D2 Holidays Kashmir Tour and Travels is a J&K Tourism approved agency on Boulevard Road, Ghat No. 7. We shape this package around your dates, hotel category and who is travelling.
Who this group tour is for
This plan suits people who already know each other. Two families who want the children together, a group of cousins, old college friends, or a small office team on an offsite. You pick the dates, and nobody outside your group joins.
Travelling alone and hoping to meet people? That is a different trip. Look at the BigBoss Kashmir tour for solo travellers or the Kashmir fixed departure, where the dates are set and you book a seat.
What vehicle does a group actually need?
Under six people with normal luggage, an Innova is enough. Above that, book the Tempo Traveller hire in Srinagar with the hotels, so the vehicle and the rooms are one quote. Two families who want everyone in the same van should start there.
Best time to go as a group
- April to June: gardens, blossom and mild days. It is also the busiest stretch, so bigger groups should hold rooms early.
- July and August: green valleys. The Amarnath Yatra runs through Pahalgam and near Sonamarg, so expect convoys and busier roads.
- September and October: clear skies, cooler evenings and autumn colour. Often the easiest months to get the rooms you want.
- December to February: snow in Gulmarg. Days are short and roads can close after heavy snowfall, so we keep the plan flexible.
How to keep the group cost down
Sharing is where a group saves. One Tempo costs less per head than three separate cabs. Children sharing a room with parents, or an extra bed instead of an extra room, changes the total. Standard hotels in Srinagar and Pahalgam keep the budget sane without making anyone uncomfortable.
Send us the headcount, the ages of any children, and how many rooms you think you need. We reply with one quote that lists the rooms, the vehicles and the meals, so the person collecting money from everyone has a clear sheet.
Itinerary
Airport pickup in Srinagar. Groups often land on different flights, so tell us every flight number and we plan the pickups around them. Check in, rest, and take the Shikara on Dal Lake in the evening if it is in your quote. Overnight in Srinagar.
About two hours each way on the Tangmarg road. The gondola is optional and paid at Gulmarg, so the group can split: some ride up, some stay on the meadow. Back in Srinagar for dinner.
Roughly two and a half to three hours along the Sindh river. Walk or take ponies towards Thajiwas glacier. Zero Point, when the pass is open, needs local cars that are priced separately. Overnight in Srinagar.
Around three hours, with a stop at the saffron fields of Pampore and the Avantipora ruins if the group wants one. Evening walk along the Lidder. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Betaab Valley, Aru and Chandanwari are reached in local union cars, which are booked on the spot and kept as their own line on the bill. A slower afternoon for anyone who wants to stay by the river. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Early breakfast and the drive back to the airport. Keep flights after early afternoon so nobody is chasing a gate.

FAQs
The quote shows a per-person figure and the group total. Both depend on the headcount, the room mix and the vehicles, which is why this page says on request instead of printing a number.
Yes. Give us everyone's age when you enquire. We keep the driving days shorter where we can and suggest which stops the older members can skip.
No. Betaab, Aru and Chandanwari are reached in local union cars that are booked in Pahalgam. We explain the system before you go and keep them as a separate line.
Send the enquiry form or call +91 70062 71178. We send a quote, hold the hotels on a token advance, and the balance follows the invoice.
