Why keep the family in one Srinagar hotel?
The classic circuit moves hotels every night. That looks tidy on a map and feels awful with small children. This package sleeps in Srinagar and drives out. You unpack once. The cab is the same driver, who already knows who gets carsick.
If you would rather wake up in Pahalgam or Gulmarg, the 5 nights 6 days package is the overnight version. It is a different pace, not a better one.
What do we change for kids?
- Shorter sightseeing. One valley in Pahalgam, not a chain of them
- Loo stops we actually use, on the highway, not a hedge
- A car with a boot that shuts: Innova for one family, Tempo if two families share the plan
- An optional houseboat night, not a default, because some children hate the shikara after dark
- A spare day in Srinagar so a bad weather morning does not wreck the flight
How is this different from a budget package?
The budget Kashmir tour is priced as a circuit with nights in more than one town. This family plan is priced on request because the hotel category and the car change with the ages. Tell us the children's ages with the enquiry. That is the detail that sets the quote.
Itinerary
Airport pickup to a Srinagar hotel. If the flight is late, the evening is the hotel, not a garden. Shikara only if everyone still has the energy.
Early start, about two hours on the road, Tangmarg permitting. Gondola only as far as the children will enjoy. Back in Srinagar before dark.
Around three hours each way, with a real stop. One meadow, not three. Local union cars for Betaab or Aru are explained before you leave.
Sonamarg if the group is still happy in the car. If not, Mughal gardens and a short shikara. We decide this the night before, not on a fixed script.
Gardens, a houseboat visit if you want one night on the lake, or nothing much. The point is a buffer before the flight.
Breakfast and the airport run, timed for the queue rather than a hopeful dash.

Any, as long as you tell us. Toddlers need the shorter days and a car they can nap in. Teenagers can take a longer Gulmarg day. We do not run a separate kids' club. The pace is the product.
It depends on the hotel and the age. We do not publish a child rate that would be wrong for your dates. The quote splits adults and children.
Phase 1 is the usual one we suggest. Phase 2 is colder and less kind to a tired child. We say so on the morning if the weather up top is poor.
Yes. Say if anyone needs fewer stairs or a slower morning. We would rather drop a garden than rush a person who does not want to be rushed.
